In 1990 I began MadeSmart Housewares with the creation of the Junk Drawer Organizer®. I believed in the Junk Drawer Organizer® enough that I sought to make it available to all. This unique product provided customers with a place to put items that usually fell to the bottom of the drawer. It met household organizational needs with a simple, easy-to-use product that had both style and enduring appeal. After that initial success, my new company continued to expand our line with equally innovative solutions.

In 2003, it was time to lead the kitchen organization category in a different direction. With stainless steel, wood and chrome materials entering the category, plastic kitchen organizers were beginning to imitate one another and look dated. Retailers lacked a complete plastic product line that could complement high-end options but still remain affordable.

MadeSmart’s Organized Kitchen Collection is a matching collection of drawer and cabinet organizers building upon our existing strengths with products that feature over-molded accents. The over-mold technology is a secondary process that coats the interior surface of the organizers with a soft pad. This patented Organized Kitchen Collection offers a cohesive look, reasonably priced that will meet every kitchen organization need.

From our administrative office in St. Paul, Minnesota my team works hard to maintain and exceed the high level of customer attention that you have come to expect from MadeSmart over the years. Our customer base includes both large national and international retailers as well as a variety of specialty stores. We are willing to work with our customers to find the program that best suits them.
